The Greatest Of All Time (GOAT) Leo Andre Messi announced his departure from PSG playing only two seasons at the club after winning the Qatar FIFA World Cup 2023 with Argentina.

The Argentine thought it would be a very good option to leave  since he can't tolerate abusive chants and bad treatments from the PSG fans .

Clubs approached the player immediately the departure was announced. Major clubs that showed interest in Messi were Al Hilal (Saudi Arabia), Barcelona (Spain), Inter Miami (USA), Arsenal (England), Chelsea (England) and PSG (France) fighting to keep him .

It was every club's dream to have Leo playing in their team , but it was all up to the South American to decide his next destination.

About 70% of Messi's fans thought it would be good for him to return back home to Barcelona, but his decision was never known.

Day-in  day-out, fans kept wondering where exactly Leo Andre Messi would settle.

The media never stopped predicting and investigating about Messi's situation.

The rate at which the Argentine would return back to Barcelona raised high as He was spotted at Barcelona for some days hanging out with some board members of Barca, yet contract talks was never held between both parties.

Messi rejected a huge bid from Saudi Arabia which could make him the heighest paid athlete in the world.

The Saudi Arabian Club (Al Hilal) offered Messi over €400m per year , but he believed playing football with passion was better than to play for money. Barcelona fans kept believing that the Argentine's return would come true.

Again the Saudi side never gave up , they now improved their bid for Messi from over €400m per year to €1.5 Billion for 3 years. This contract was €500m gross per year.

Strictly the Argentine said 'NO' to Hilal and went on for passion over money

On the 8th of June , Leo Andre Messi made his final decision to join the USA side, Inter Miami to play in the MLS league.

David Beckham with his Maimi board members offered Messi a contract that includes;

1. Apple paying Messi a percentage of subscription to the MLS season pass from Apple TV.

2. Adidas paying Messi a percentage of Inter Miami's shirt sales.

3. Messi being able to acquire an MLS franchise at the send of his career.

Lots of people criticized the Argentine about his decision, But he never listened to what they said.

Soon he was given the Captain Arm Band to lead the Miami team and his performance in MLS within a short period before International Break  was unbelievable as compared to that of PSG.
